Sugar cement

This is great for using as a strong edible glue especially if you are trying to adhere pieces together that have been left to harden before glueing together or for pieces that are heavier ( attaching flowers to large cakes etc.. ) it dries much more quickly then edible glue or royal icing.

You will need

Small bowl
Sugar paste
Hot water
Spoon
Tylo/cmc powder ( optional )

Place a piece of sugar paste into a bowl ( the amount depends on how much you need. ) pour on a little hot water enough to just moisten the sugar paste and leave for the sugar paste to absorb the water; mush down with a spoon and add more water as required to get it to a consistently that's like stiff peak royal icing.  You can add a touch of Tylo powder if you need the cement to be super strong but only add a tiny pinch ( using too much makes it too gooey and hard to work with.

IIt will keep in a plastic lidded pot for a few days but I tend to make it as required and don't usually store it as it's so quick and easily made.
