Kitty cat cake topper


You will need 
Basic modelling tools 
Modelling paste 
Progel colours :- grey, ice blue, pink & black 
Cocktail stick
Edible glue ( see how to ) 


1: Roll a ball into a cone shape for the body.


2: Roll 2 balls of both white & grey for the front legs and paws.


3: Shape the White balls into ovals and attach to the bottom of the body with a dab of edible glue make indents with the ball tool so the legs fit in snug.


4: Roll  the grey balls into sausage shapes and stick to the front of the body.  Use a cocktail stick to shape the paws. 


5: Roll the back paws the same as the front and stick to the side of the body.


6: Roll another 2 sausage shapes for the back legs; once rolled bend into a u shape.


7:  Attach to the side of the body using a little edible glue and position them so the legs sit on the paws.  Again indent lines with the cocktail stick to shape the paws. 


7:  Roll a piece of grey paste into a ball for the head.  Attach a smaller ball of white paste to the lower middle of the head.


8:  Use the ball tool to indent hollows for the eyes.


9:  Next roll 2 each of white, blue In decreasing sizes.  Drop the White balls into the hollows and use the ball tool to flatten out in the eye socket.  Repeat with the blue.


10: Repeat with black and white paste.  Make a small indent with the ball tool to hold the nose.


11: Use a cocktail stick to indent a line from the nose down to the mouth.


12: Open the mouth with a small ball tool or veining tool.


13: Roll 2 small balls from the pink paste place one on the nose and shape the other into a tear drop; indent a line down the middle and place in his mouth. 


14:  Place the head onto the body using a dab of edible glue.  For the ears Shape 2 small cones of both grey and pink; place the pink cone onto the grey and use the ball tool to blend the colours in.  Attach to the top of the head.  Use the ball tool inside the ear to help stick the ears down. 


15: Marble some of the White and grey paste and roll into a long sausage shape for the tail and fix into position with edible glue.
